PueyoAs part of its efforts for continuous improvement, the CSC Regional Office XII conducted a Program to Institutionalize Meritocracy and Excellence in Human Resource Management (PRIME-HRM) Seminar Workshop for Level II Recruitment, Selection and Placement (RSP) and Performance Management (PM). The purpose of the seminar which was held on May 2-3, 2018 is three-fold: First, to serve as a re-orientation for all officials and employees on the salient features of PRIME-HRM; Second, to help the office identify strategies to meet the Maturity Level II indicators within the year; and third, to fortify the skills and know-how of PRIME-HRM Assistors as they provide assistance to partner agencies.

The activity proved to be productive and rewarding as CSCRO XII officials and employees were able to self-assess as to the present status of its HR systems, discuss strategies and come-up with its agency Action Plan. The event also served as a venue for the Human Resource Merit Promotion and Selection Board (HRMPSB) as well as the Performance Management Team (PMT) to plan and propose further improvements on the areas of RSP and PM particularly in terms of implementation of the Equal Opportunity Principle (EOP).

To complete the discussion on the four (4) HR systems, a Training on Learning and Development (L&D) and Rewards and Recognition (R&R) will follow on May 30-31, 2018.   The regional office shall continue to undertake initiatives to engage partner agencies and promote the holistic implementation of the Equal Opportunity Principle (EOP) across all HR systems.
