The new logo of the Civil Service Commission (CSC) was approved by the Office of the President and registered through the National Historical Commission of the Philippines on February 12, 2018. The logo follows CSC's branding initiated in 2010, which is based on the Philippine flag colors and themes.
Evolving from the 2010 version, the 2016 version drops the tagline "Para sa Taumbayan". All the elements have also been aligned in equal width, and the title "Civil Service Commission" is rendered in one line only. The 2018 version retains CSC's corporate identity but the logo now strictly uses only Philippine flag colors and "Civil Service Commission" has been placed on top of "Republic of the Philippines".
The red and blue strokes above the initials "CSC" echo the image of the Philippine flag, while its upward motion represent growth and progress. The letters "CSC" is the acronym of Civil Service Commission. The letter "S" is in red, representing service.
